Note from Donna…It is a brand-new year. January (which is our busy season) has now come and gone. We survived 1099 season – we have most of our Year End Financials to clients. It’s time to really focus on 2023 and get some things planned out. I’m not a resolutioner… but I am a goal maker.
Most have heard of SMART Goals. I am not sharing anything new just reminding us to use them. I am sure I am not the only one that has been in a networking group and asked what goals I have. If I’m not prepared, I might throw out something I’ve been thinking about without thought to how “SMART” it is.
S - Specific
M – Measurable
A – Achievable
R – Relevant
T – Time-Based
Let’s do one together just for the practice of it.
I have a goal to host 4 webinars this year (once a quarter). I have an accountability group to keep me on track.
Specific – I want to do 4 webinars on Profit First – Even More specific Pricing.
Measurable – I will have due dates for outlines, PowerPoint, and practice sessions (for feedback).
Achievable – Absolutely. The hardest one is 1st quarter since it’s also high season. So, I started in December to keep me on track.
Relevant – It’s relevant to my business as I want to grow my Profit First program. It’s relevant to my audience as Profit First is a cash flow management system. All businesses need a cash flow management system.
Time Based – With my due dates for specific parts of the project.
This is now a SMART goal and I truly believe I’m going to be successful at achieving it. Be on the lookout for an invite to my webinars in 2023.
